Boston area financial services professionals are invited to an alumni reception on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
The event is sponsored by the Holy Cross Alumni Association with an aim to enhance professional development and support career advancement for alumni working in the finance industry.
Joseph F. Keefe ’76, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pax World Funds, will be the featured speaker and discuss Sustainable Investing: A Wise Strategy for Long-Term Investors.
Sustainable Investing is gaining mainstream acceptance as evidence mounts that environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors can have material impacts on business and investment portfolio performance. Moreover, in volatile markets dominated by short-term traders, Sustainable Investing may be an attractive strategy for long-term investors who seek not only a return to fundamentals but also want their investments to be aligned with their values. This address will discuss Sustainable Investing against the backdrop of recent market woes and in the context of some of the challenges facing investors and the broader economy in the years ahead.
